Dr. Vohra will be seeing patients at the office located at 3 Care Lane in Saratoga Springs. She will be providing a full range of diagnostic and treatment options for patients with chronic pain. Patients like those suffering from back and neck pain, failed back surgery pain, joint pain, complex regional pain syndrome/RSD, headaches and neuropathic pain may benefit from Dr. Vohra’s services.
“Our goal is to not only to decrease a patient’s pain level but also to enhance their quality of life by increasing their daily functioning. After proper diagnosis and treatment, many patients are able to return to their normal leisure activities, resume work with less pain and improve their overall psychological and physical wellness.”
About chronic pain
Chronic pain is a largely undertreated and misunderstood disease that affects millions of people worldwide. It is defined as moderate to severe pain that persists for one or more months longer than would generally be expected for recovery to a specific disease, injury or surgery. The American Pain Foundation estimates that chronic pain affects 76.5 million people in the U.S., while the National Institutes of Health estimates that chronic pain costs the U.S. economy $100 billion a year in lost work time and medical expenses.
